Oh hey, I’m Hester!
I’m a wedding celebrant who genuinely loves love, people and joyful celebrations.
Before becoming a celebrant, I was a TV presenter, BBC radio presenter and freelance writer. I’ve always loved words, whether that’s writing them or speaking them. It’s probably why I now work as a public speaker, neurodiversity trainer and ADHD coach.
I’m very comfortable standing up in front of a crowd, reading the room and making people feel at ease. Whether the energy is big and bold, calm and quiet, or somewhere in between.
I’m all about creating inclusive weddings where you really can unmask and be yourself. If you’re neurodivergent, or you simply want a wedding where you can show up as your true, authentic self, you’re very much in the right place.
I’ve been with my husband Kelly for 24 years and married for 18. Kelly is autistic and ADHD and I have ADHD too.
I often say I wish we’d known this when we got married, because we’d have made things even more neurodivergent-friendly. It’s one of the reasons inclusive, flexible ceremonies matter so much to me.
Things that make me happy:
Sunshine, nice people, Jaffa Cakes, being kind, laughing, new trainers and hanging out with my family.
I also love exploring Norfolk, where we moved a couple of years ago. If there is a coffee shop which sells an amazing iced mocha, you’ll find me there!
