Welcome to the Hester Loves Love website. By using this website or contacting Hester Loves Love about celebrant services, you agree to the terms below.
These terms are here to make sure expectations are clear for everyone.
1. About Hester Loves Love
Hester Loves Love provides independent celebrant services, creating and delivering personalised ceremonies for weddings, vow renewals and other meaningful life events.
Ceremonies delivered by Hester Loves Love are celebratory and symbolic and do not legally marry you. Couples are responsible for completing the legal marriage registration separately if required.
2. Enquiries
Submitting an enquiry through the website or by email does not confirm a booking.
Dates are only secured once a booking has been agreed and a deposit has been received.
3. Booking & Deposits
A ceremony date is confirmed once:
Both parties agree to the booking, and
A non-refundable deposit is paid.
The deposit secures your ceremony date and covers initial planning and consultation time.
4. Payment
The remaining balance for celebrant services is typically due before the ceremony date. Full payment details and timelines will be confirmed when booking.
If full payment is not received by the agreed date, Hester Loves Love reserves the right to cancel the booking.
5. Changes & Cancellations
If you need to change your ceremony date, Hester Loves Love will do their best to accommodate this where availability allows.
Deposits are non-refundable, as the date has been reserved and preparation work may have begun.
If a ceremony is cancelled after booking, any payments already made may not be refundable depending on the stage of planning. Details will be outlined in the booking agreement.
6. Ceremony Planning
Hester Loves Love works closely with couples to create a personalised ceremony. This may include:
Planning meetings
Script writing
Ceremony structure and guidance
Delivery of the ceremony on the agreed date
Couples agree to provide accurate information and respond to planning requests in a timely way so the ceremony can be prepared properly.
7. Travel
Travel within a reasonable distance may be included in the ceremony fee. If travel outside this area is required (30 mile plus from NR13 5HZ), additional travel costs may apply and will be discussed in advance.
8. Illness or Unforeseen Circumstances
In the unlikely event that Hester is unable to deliver the ceremony due to illness or circumstances beyond her control, every effort will be made to assist in finding a suitable replacement celebrant where possible.
Any payments already made will be refunded where the ceremony cannot be delivered.
9. Website Content
All content on this website, including text, wording, and ceremony examples, belongs to Hester Loves Love unless stated otherwise.
This content may not be copied, reproduced, or used elsewhere without permission.
10. Liability
While every effort is made to deliver ceremonies as planned, Hester Loves Love cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside of reasonable control (for example venue issues, weather disruption, or supplier problems).
